We have to spend some times once in a while just to realize how lucky we are. Today suddenly we got a phone call asking us to pick up the food from comparison study from our fellow students at President University. There are approximately 30 pax of excessive food. However, today also marks the opening of PON in Bandung, which contributes to a major heavy traffic in the city and we got one of our Unpad members to come and pick up the food.

It took almost 4 hours from Jatinangor to Unpar campus but we finally make it! The food is still fresh and we immediately distribute it to the homeless people near Kebon Jati area. You can see the complete pictures below.

We met people who live with his families with no home. So every night they just come to the area and set up their blankets and mats. We also admire them because no matter how hard their lives is, they never give up on their families. How many times we heard people throwing away their kids just because they are poor? How many times we heard husband hitting on their wives just because they're tired? These people are honest, working really hard (they are not beggars), and really trying everything they could to get out of this situation.

The question is: are we willing to help them?
